Achieve Mental Wellness

What is mental wellness and is it something you can achieve?  Being mentally well simply means that your mind is in order, and you're thinking, feeling, and behaving in ways that support your best interest.  Becoming mentally well has a positive impact on your physical and social well-being.  You'll perform better on your job, manage relationships successfully, achieve personal goals, and open the door for abundant living.

Is it possible for me?

Absolutely!  Achieving mental wellness is obtainable and well within your reach.  Like anything else worth having, it takes time, commitment, and a willingness to change and make corrections to bad behaviors, patterns, and cycles.

How much time does it take?  This can depend on many factors: willingness to be consistent with attending sessions, developing therapeutic relationship, applying tools learned in session to real-life, external factors that impact the success of therapy.

How much of a commitment is required?  This depends on the person and what you are hoping to achieve.  Some clients experience great benefit from attending even one session.  Most change requires at least 6 sessions; other situations require more.  Just remember, you invest in other things like your vehicle, home, education, vacations, and entertainment.  Your mental wellness is worth the investment as well!

What changes are required?

The changes required depend on your therapy goals and how you want your life to look and feel.  Change is assessed as we work together to check what's under the hood and go beneath the surface to get to the root of bad behaviors, and destructive cycles.  For some, the change required will be obvious and easily recognized, for others, this process may be more extensive due to factors they could not control, such as childhood trauma.

My promise to you, as we partner together, is to not leave you "stuck", and to help you focus on the changes needed to obtain the results you desire.  I will hold you accountable and push you to keep pressing towards your goal and not give up!
